About Harbour Psychology
Dr Megan Kendall, PsychD
I am a Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Harbour Psychology. I specialise in working with teenagers and adults aged 12 and up. I am approachable and down to earth and enjoy working with people wanting to experience significant changes within themselves and their lives.
I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2011 and have worked in a range of Psychological Therapy services within the NHS. I set up Harbour Psychology in 2017 and in 2020 I left the NHS to focus solely on supporting people through Harbour Psychology.
I am a member of the Association of Clinical Psychologists UK; registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist; member of EMDR UK and an Accredited CAT Practitioner within the Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and I have completed intensive accredited training with Internal Family Systems UK.
I receive regular clinical supervision from Clinical Psychologists as well as specialist EMDR, CAT and IFS supervision, and consultation with the Centre for Dissociative Studies (CDS). I have an enhanced annual DBS check.
Stef Buchan
I am the Virtual Assistant for Harbour Psychology. I take care of client invoicing, payments and general queries. I work remotely from North Yorkshire (hence the ‘virtual’ part of my job title) and I am always happy to help. You can contact me directly by emailing admin@harbourpsychology.co.uk
Luna
Hello! I’m Luna and I’m still a puppy. I am half Bichon Frise and half Cavapoo (Cavapoos are a mix of poodle and King Charles Cavalier Spaniel).
I love people, sniffing everything, treats, chewing things I’m not meant to chew, chasing birds and sleeping.
I am extremely fluffy but my fur doesn’t shed, so I am also hypoallergenic.
I am learning how to become a therapy dog by having some training sessions with Debby at Pocodogs.
When I come to work with Megan, I spend most of my time snoozing. I will say hello to you and I can get excited when someone new comes into the office especially if you are excited too, but I quickly calm down.
I know some people don’t like dogs, so if you are one of those people I can go home when you visit - just let Megan know. Otherwise, I look forward to meeting you!
